Hardo

"A lot of people can rap, but only a few people in the world can be a rap star."

HARDO has made a significant impact and his future looks bright. A product of Pittsburgh's storied and historic Wilkinsburg section, Trap'n Hardo's efforts have garnered millions of YouTube views and streams, telling a story rarely seen coming from the Steel City.
Telling his stories through his music, like the tattoos on his face and body, HARDO wears his past with pride, whether it 's
heralding triumphs or claiming his mistakes.

Owning his life experiences, HARDO's earliest songs show that he's lived a complex life. The 2012 street hit, "Stressin'" (with over 1,000,000 views) was one of the earliest disclosures of his life's dichotomy, and even caught the ear of T.l. After hearing "Stressin''“ the Grand Hustle CEO sought out the unsigned MC, to extend friendship and wisdom, which HARDO readily welcomed. The more you listen to Hardo, the more you realize that it’s not all good to be a part of the streets, and you see the change and growth in him wanting to be a better person." On his recent track, Fast Life (feat. Mac Miller), HARDO raps; "I'm just rollin' up my next blunt / Pen and pad, I'm just trying to be the next up / I'm a dad, I'm just tryin' to be the best one." These bars tell it exactly as it is.

HARDO is also the CEO of this own label TRAP ILLUSTRATED ENT. The bigger Hardo has become in the entertainment industry, the more he has focused on giving back to his community. During his time in prison, HARDO remembers seeing inmates who never had visits, and this made a big impact on him. Once he was released he immediately started renting buses as free transportation for family members to go see their love ones in far away jails in the state of PA. You can watch this act of kindness on Hardos youtube channel HARDO TV, Trapumentary (Episode 3). He also organizes back to school drives every year, along side his communities police department to build a bridge between the community and the police. HARDO seeks out up and coming artists, such as LANCE DA YOUNGIN to sign to his label, and give others a chance to become successful

TRAP ILLUSTRATED was built to not only be a record label, but also to help his community and inspire new artists.

Now, the Taylor Alderdice High School alum, who walked the same halls as friend Wiz Khalifa (who makes an appearance on the club-tinged "Mo' Money"), and recorded some of his earliest verses at his classmate Mac Miller's house, will add to the Pittsburgh musical diversity. Already a hometown hero, HARDO is now a role model for all the right reasons, with iron clad street respect. T10TDOA tells this story, with a resonant message, and compelling MUSIC
